Finally, after years of waiting, we have our first Season 2 teaser. The first teaser video for the forthcoming season, which debuted on January 5 on Netflix, featured the scientist Singed and may have confirmed a widely-held fan theory involving a player from League of Legends.
Netflix revealed in November 2023 Arcane season 2 release date that Arcane will return for a second season in November 2024. For the series, November is a popular month. On November 20, 2021, there was an initial reveal of Arcane Season 2, right after the release of the third and last installment of Season 1.
Arcane Season 2 is set to release in winter 2024, according to a September 2023 presentation by Tencent, the company that controls Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends.
There needs to be a trailer ready for Arcane season 2, as it’s still a while away. However, Netflix unveiled the first teaser for Season 2 in early January. The 40-second clip serves as a brief reminder of the Arcane universe and the show’s November return date.
That’s Singed, the evil doctor from Season 1, checking his pocket watch while receiving a blood transfusion and looking up to see a hanging monster above him. Though it’s unclear, the most likely theory is that the beast is Vander, the deceased adoptive father of Vi and Jinx from Season 1, who is currently changing into the playable undead werewolf Warwick from League of Legends.
A significant cliffhanger from Season 1’s Pillover Council Chamber Go Boom will significantly impact which characters return. Only the return of Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Ella Purnell (Jinx), and Katie Leung (Caitlyn) has been officially announced by Netflix thus far.
We’ll just have to wait and see who makes it out of the blast. Jayce, Viktor, Mel, Hoskel, Cassandra, Bolbok, Shoola, and Salo were in the council chamber when Jinx blew it up.
Indeed. Of then, one could consider Arcane seasons 2 and 1 to be multiple seasons. We think there will be more installments, though, as it would be strange to refer to two seasons as “multiple” when “a couple” would be more appropriate. That would be the case, considering how well-liked it is. There’s still a ton of story to tell, character arcs to wrap up, and new characters and champions to present. Thus, from the standpoint of storyline or character development, Arcane will always have ideas. It would also be delightful for us to see many more chapters because we admire Fortiche’s animation series graphics.
